Join ConnectOS as a Loan Processor and play a pivotal role in delivering seamless mortgage experiences for Australian borrowers. This remote-friendly position supports Australian mortgage brokers by handling the administrative tasks that keep loan applications moving from intake to closing. You will work closely with brokers, underwriters, and lenders to collect, verify, and organize documents, extract and validate data, and maintain system accuracy across the full loan lifecycle. Your day-to-day will focus on accurate data entry, timely document collection, and proactive communication with stakeholders to resolve issues before they become delays. Responsibility
- Receive and review borrower information, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for Australian mortgage loans.
- Prepare, submit and track loan applications through the end-to-end processing cycle, including verification of income, assets, employment, and credit checks.
- Coordinate with mortgage brokers, lenders, and internal teams to obtain conditions, valuations, and policy-compliant documents.
- Maintain meticulous mortgage data in processing systems, generate reports, and monitor SLA adherence.
- Identify and resolve processing bottlenecks, escalating issues as needed to maintain timely approvals and settlements.
- Ensure compliance with Australian NCCP guidelines and internal risk/compliance standards, including data privacy and record keeping.
- Prepare settlement packages and communicate clearance and funding readiness to brokers and clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service to brokers, applicants, and partners, communicating status updates clearly and professionally.
Qualification
- 2+ years of mortgage loan processing or financial services experience, preferably with Australian lending.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end loan processing and conditions clearance.
- Familiarity with Australian lending standards and NCCP guidelines; knowledge of APRA regulations is a plus.
- Proficiency with mortgage processing software and CRMs, as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with brokers, lenders and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
