Responsibility

  • Coordinate and monitor DRRM programs across the province in alignment with national and local policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard mapping, and vulnerability analyses; maintain DRRM data dashboards.
  • Plan and deliver training, simulations, and awareness campaigns for LGUs, communities, and partner agencies.
  • Support budgeting, procurement, and project tracking for DRRM initiatives at the provincial level.
  • Liaise with national agencies, NGOs, and civil society to mobilize resources during emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with RA 10121 and other DRRM regulations; prepare routine and ad hoc reports.
  • Facilitate timely information dissemination, early warning, and risk communication to communities.
  • Assist in post‑disaster assessments, relief planning, and recovery programs as needed.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, development management, geography, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Interest or experience in disaster risk management, emergency operations, or local governance is preferred; strong candidates from related disciplines will be considered.
  • Knowledge of Philippine DRRM laws (RA 10121) and Local Government Code; ability to apply policy into practice.
  • Strong analytical, written and oral communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; data management; basic GIS knowledge is a plus; ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and travel to municipalities; willingness to participate in emergencies.
