Private Advertiser is a dynamic player in the steel trading and processing industry, with a focus on flat and long steel products. Based in Shah Alam's Bukit Raja area, we are seeking a dedicated Logistic Assistant cum Safety Admin to join our operations team and contribute to smooth, compliant logistics and a safe working environment.
In this role, you will support end-to-end logistics activities, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and manage essential documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness. You will also assist in implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies across the site, and help maintain a culture of safety for all employees and visitors. This combined role offers hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, stock control, and safety administration, with opportunities to grow your skills within a growing steel business.

Responsibility
- Coordinate daily import/export activities, shipments, and delivery schedules with carriers and internal departments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records and documentation.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing safety policies, conducting site inspections, and recording safety observations.
- Support incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and follow-up corrective actions.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport partners, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including goods receiving, put-away, stock checks, and cycle counting.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and company health and safety standards; participate in internal audits and training sessions.
- Help prepare safety training materials and coordinate safety-related communications across the site.
Qualification
- Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Occupational Safety, or a related field; relevant hands-on experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; bilingual proficiency in English and Malay is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety regulations and incident reporting; ability to participate in safety training and audits.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic environment with handling of documentation and safety tasks.
