W Group Inc. is hiring a proactive Logistics Coordinator (Imports) to join our growing team in Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will manage inbound shipments of raw materials and food ingredients, ensuring timely delivery that aligns with production schedules and quality standards. You will collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to maintain a compliant, cost-effective import process that supports our manufacturing operations.

Responsibility
- Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials and food ingredients from suppliers to the manufacturing facility, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate receipt against production schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to manage import documentation, clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor shipment status, forecast potential delays, and communicate proactive mitigation plans to production and procurement teams.
- Prepare and reconcile import documents including purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bills of lading.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize material flow and minimize stockouts.
- Coordinate with procurement and production planning to align inbound shipments with demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Analyze shipping charges, duties, and taxes to support cost controls and identify opportunities for route and carrier optimization.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations for import activities and data privacy.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in import logistics, procurement, or supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with import documentation, incoterms, and Philippine customs procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/CRM/TMS systems (eg, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or similar tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and internal teams.
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and maintain composure under pressure.
