Responsibility
- Lead engaging, informative walking tours across iconic London landmarks and hidden gems.
- Deliver historically accurate content with engaging storytelling tailored to diverse audiences.
- Provide exceptional customer service, manage group dynamics, and ensure guest safety at all times.
- Adapt itineraries to weather, accessibility, and guest interests while maintaining schedule integrity.
- Coordinate with vendors, ticketing teams, and local partners to ensure seamless experiences.
- Capture guest feedback, upsell premium experiences tactfully, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local history, culture, and current events relevant to tours.
- Uphold company brand standards and dress codes; represent the organization professionally.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a tour guide or similar role in a busy tourism environment.
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling abilities; confident with large groups.
- Fluency in English; additional languages strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of London history, architecture, and cultural contexts.
- Outstanding customer service skills and a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; comfortable navigating crowded spaces.
- First-aid certification or safety training is a plus.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and peak-tourist seasons.
