Responsibility
- Lead engaging walking tours for groups of varying sizes, delivering clear narratives and an exceptional visitor experience.
- Present accurate historical facts, anecdotes, and context while highlighting hidden gems and local culture.
- Ensure group safety, manage time, and adapt pacing to audience needs and weather conditions.
- Answer questions, handle conflicts, and provide multilingual support if applicable.
- Coordinate with operations for logistics, meet-and-greet points, and equipment as needed.
- Capture guest feedback and report insights to improve routes and service.
- Stay informed about city events and changes to itineraries, ensuring a smooth guest experience.
Qualification
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a warm, engaging stage presence.
- Fluent English; additional languages (Spanish, French, German, or Mandarin) are a plus.
- Prior tour guiding or customer-facing hospitality experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of London’s history, landmarks, and neighborhoods.
- Ability to think on your feet, resolve issues, and manage crowds safely.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak seasons.
- First aid certification and basic safety awareness are a plus.
- Eligible to work in the UK and respond to background checks as required.
