Private Advertiser is seeking a results-driven Manager - eBusiness to lead our digital commerce strategy from Bayan Lepas, Penang. This role is ideal for a strategic, metrics-driven leader who can align cross-functional teams with global commerce objectives, elevate the customer experience, and accelerate revenue growth across our e-commerce ecosystem. You will own the eBusiness roadmap, collaborate with Marketing, Product, IT, and Operations to deliver feature-rich, high-converting platforms, and ensure analytics-driven decision making across all channels. The position offers exposure to regional teams and the opportunity to influence Global ComEx strategies while maintaining compliance with local market dynamics. Responsibility
- Lead eBusiness strategy across digital channels, ensuring a seamless customer journey, high conversion rates, and alignment with global commerce expectations.
- Drive optimization initiatives (landing pages, checkout flow, mobile experience) and implement data-driven CRO programs.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, IT, and Operations to plan and launch omni-channel campaigns and platform enhancements.
- Manage budget, vendor relationships, and ROI of digital initiatives; monitor KPIs and report to executive stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to identify trends and translate insights into a prioritized product roadmap.
- Lead cross-functional teams, mentor talent, and champion a culture of experimentation, agility, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and data privacy standards while supporting expansion into new markets.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years in eBusiness, eCommerce, or digital marketing with proven leadership capabilities.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, SQL).
- Strong data-driven mindset; ability to translate metrics into strategy and roadmaps.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Budgeting, project management, vendor management, and initiative execution.
- Familiarity with Malaysia and Southeast Asia markets; understanding local regulations and consumer behavior.
