Join Huayou International Mining as a Mandarin Translator (中文翻译) and play a pivotal role bridging Chinese-language operations with global teams. Based in Weda, Maluku Utara, you will support procurement, logistics, compliance, and project coordination by delivering accurate translations, cultural insights, and timely communication with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders.
As part of a dynamic mining and materials group, you will translate Mandarin content into Indonesian and English and localize content for cross-border communications. This includes contracts, technical specifications, safety manuals, meeting minutes, and supplier correspondence, ensuring precision, consistency, and confidentiality.
Your work will empower PT. Huaneng New Material and our international partners to make informed decisions, mitigate risk, and maintain compliance across operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across procurement, legal, engineering, and operations to support project milestones and audits.

Responsibility
- Provide accurate written and oral translation of Mandarin-Chinese and Indonesian/English between internal teams and external partners, suppliers, and contractors.
- Translate documents including contracts, procurement orders, technical specifications, safety manuals, meeting minutes, and supplier communications.
- Localize content for cross-cultural communications and ensure terminology consistency using glossaries and translation memories.
- Support procurement, logistics, and project management by producing bilingual correspondence and reports.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professional discretion.
- Coordinate with regional and corporate teams to ensure timely translations for milestones, audits, and regulatory reviews.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in Mandarin translation.
- Fluency in Mandarin and Indonesian (speaking, reading, writing); English proficiency is a plus.
- Proven experience in technical translation, preferably within mining, energy, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of industry terminology, glossaries, and localization processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CAT tools, translation memory systems, and MS Office.
