Responsibility
- Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve throughput, quality, and cost per unit.
- Lead Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM) and drive continuous improvement across production lines.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality to troubleshoot issues and implement countermeasures.
- Analyze data (SPC, yield, scrap, cycle times) and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor performance.
- Lead New Product Introductions (NPI) from process readiness through ramp-up and transfer to operations.
- Standardize work, create work instructions, and train operators for safe, efficient operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations; champion a safe work environment.
- Support automation and equipment upgrades, including PLCs, robotics, and sensors to improve productivity.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in an engineered production environment.
- Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or similar) and experience with ERP/production systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Experience with factory automation, PLCs, sensors, and equipment upgrades is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards (OSHA) and quality systems (ISO 9001) is preferred.
