NovaFab Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive efficiency and product quality in our Detroit facility.
In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and implement robust manufacturing controls.

Responsibility
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment layouts to maximize throughput and quality.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies.
- Develop and validate control plans, PFMEA, and operator instructions.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product introductions from design for manufacturability to pilot line runs.
- Drive standard work, visual management, and continuous improvement culture on the shop floor.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering preferred.
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing environment with process improvement exposure.
- Proficiency with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of GMP/Quality systems and work instructions.
- Experience with CAD and process simulation tools; ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; results-oriented mindset.
