As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will partner with production, quality, and maintenance teams to identify bottlenecks, implement lean improvements, and ensure safe, compliant operations. This role combines hands-on problem solving with strategic process design to sustain world-class performance.

Responsibility

  • Analyze production line performance data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and scrap, documenting findings and recommended actions.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects using lean tools to reduce cycle times and waste by measurable margins.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations to optimize equipment downtime and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Develop and validate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for new and existing processes.
  • Support new product launches by qualifying processes, materials, and equipment for robust manufacturability.
  • Monitor quality metrics, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor operators and technicians, promoting a culture of safety, ownership, and accountability.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; 3-5 years of factory floor experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis (DMAIC).
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, automation, and basic electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adjacent shifts if required.
