Responsibility
- Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and waste reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement process improvements.
- Lead kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma initiatives to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standard work procedures and routing for assembly lines.
- Support new product introductions and ramp-up of new lines with robust risk assessments.
- Monitor KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, and cycle time; report findings to leadership.
- Support safety and compliance requirements, ensuring a safe working environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a mid to large-scale operation.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP and MES systems; proficiency in CAD and process simulation is a plus.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and delivering measurable results.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and a commitment to a safe workplace.
