Responsibility

  • Lead and sustain continuous improvement initiatives across production lines to improve throughput and reduce cycle times.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, perform time studies, and implement standardized work and line layouts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, FMEA, and DMAIC to resolve quality and efficiency issues.
  • Collaborate with design and process teams on new product introductions and process validation.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, bills of process, SOPs, and standard work instructions.
  • Lead value-stream mapping and waste reduction activities to lower cost per unit.
  • Support automation and equipment upgrades, including vendor evaluation and installation oversight.
  • Monitor key performance indicators KPIs and prepare performance reports for leadership.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Yellow Belt to Black Belt), and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience with CAD (SolidWorks or equivalent) and process simulation.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab).
  • Familiarity with FMEA, DOE, statistical process control, and quality systems.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and change-management skills as well as the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
