Responsibility

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and cycle times using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Analyze production processes, develop standardized work, and implement robust process controls.
  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and maintenance to optimize layouts, tooling, and line sequencing.
  • Monitor OEE, scrap, downtime, and yield; prepare data-driven reports for leadership.
  • Execute DOE, FMEA, CAPA, and controlled pilot runs to validate changes before full-scale implementation.
  • Support equipment qualification, installation, and preventive maintenance planning; ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Mentor technicians and operators on best practices, problem-solving, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on cost reduction and productivity improvements with measurable ROI.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, FMEA, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools, process simulation, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience with safety standards (OSHA) and quality systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel up to 10% as needed.
  • Data-driven mindset with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data visualization is a plus.
