What you’ll do in this role:
Responsibility
- Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and waste using Lean methods and Six Sigma tools.
- Map current state processes, collect data, and define measurable KPIs to track performance.
- Design and implement standardized work, cell layouts, and visual controls to improve throughput and quality.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA).
- Lead cross-functional projects focusing on cost-out, energy efficiency, and equipment uptime.
- Support new product introductions (NPIs) from process capability planning to ramp‑up.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt at minimum), and process improvement
- Experience with PLCs, automation, data collection, and MES/SCADA systems
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficient data analysis and visualization using Excel, Minitab, or similar tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
