Responsibility
- Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle times and variability, applying Lean and Six Sigma where appropriate.
- Analyze production data, develop standard work, and implement SOPs to standardize operations across lines.
- Design and test new processes and equipment layouts to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Lead line trials, conduct ROI analyses, justify capital investments, and track project milestones.
- Mentor operators and technicians; support training and operator cross training programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards; contribute to internal audits and corrective action programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in a high-mix, high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems, CAD tools, SPC, and data analysis software (Excel, Minitab, Python).
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and varying shifts.
