As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, optimize, and scale production processes to increase output, reduce waste, and ensure top-tier product quality. This role offers hands-on impact, cross-functional collaboration, and rapid career progression.

What you will do includes driving process improvements, supporting new product introductions, leading problem solving, and partnering with maintenance, QA, and operations to maintain best-in-class performance.

Responsibility

  • Lead design and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve throughput and quality.
  • Collaborate with health and safety, quality, maintenance, and production teams to implement lean improvements and 5S practices.
  • Analyze production data, define KPIs, and drive corrective actions using data-driven methods (Excel, Minitab, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process controls for new and existing products.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) from process design through pilot runs and production handoff.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement countermeasures to eliminate repeat issues.
  • Mentor operators and technicians on best practices, troubleshooting, and process optimization.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience with a proven track record in process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and problem-solving tools (8D, DMAIC).
  • Proficiency with data analysis, ERP/MRP systems, CAD tools, and MS Office; experience with PLCs is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics; familiarity with quality systems and root cause analysis.
