Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize core manufacturing processes, reducing cycle times and waste.
- Develop standardized work, process flows, and SOPs to ensure repeatable, safe production.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methods (value stream mapping, Kaizen events, 8D, FMEA) to drive improvements.
- Design and implement automation and equipment upgrades, including PLCs and robotics integrations.
- Monitor KPIs (OEE, yield, scrap, downtime) and implement countermeasures; report progress to leadership.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure robust process control and GMP/ISO compliance where applicable.
- Lead capital projects from scoping through ROI justification, installation, and commissioning.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 3-6 years of manufacturing experience with proven Lean Six Sigma track record.
- Hands-on experience with automation, PLCs, robotics, sensors, and process instrumentation.
- Proficient in data analysis and problem solving (Excel, Minitab/JMP, ERP/MES).
- Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with quality systems (SPC, APQP, CAPA) and safety standards (OSHA).
- Certification such as Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent preferred.
