In this Manufacturing Process Engineer position, you will partner with operations, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize production lines, drive cost reductions, and ensure top-tier product quality. Responsibility
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives on manufacturing lines to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with maintenance and automation teams to implement equipment upgrades and process control strategies (PLC, MES).
- Lead kaizen events and Lean initiatives (5S, SMED, Kaizen) to drive cost reductions and quality enhancements.
- Use data analytics and SPC to monitor process capability, yield, and defect trends, then implement corrective actions.
- Support new product introductions from process feasibility through pilot runs and ramp-up.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards; participate in internal audits.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering or production optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP) and basic statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with automation concepts, PLC programming, and MES/ERP systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
