Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute oceanographic research projects focusing on physical, chemical, and biological processes.
- Operate and maintain advanced oceanographic instruments and remote sensing systems.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret field data from marine environments.
- Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals and present results at conferences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including marine biologists, data scientists, and environmental policy experts.
- Supervise and mentor graduate students and research assistants.
- Prepare technical reports, grant proposals, and progress summaries.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, compliance, and environmental protocols.
Qualification
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Oceanography, Marine Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in oceanographic research or marine data analysis.
- Proficiency with oceanographic instrumentation and field sampling techniques.
- Strong data analysis skills using MATLAB, R, Python, or similar tools.
- Proven publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.
- Willingness to participate in extended fieldwork at sea.
