We are a premium maritime solutions firm seeking a seasoned Maritime Navigation Officer to oversee navigational operations, ECDIS management, and voyage planning for global fleets. Based in Singapore, this full-time role blends advanced navigation technologies with rigorous safety standards to deliver efficient and compliant voyage execution.

Responsibility
- Lead and monitor navigational watch, ensuring safe, compliant conduct of vessel movements in all sea conditions.
- Operate and supervise ECDIS (electronic chart display and information system) and ARPA radar, maintaining up-to-date chart data and route planning.
- Develop and optimize voyage plans, weather routing, and fuel-efficient trajectories in accordance with company policy and SOLAS/COLREGs.
- Coordinate with master, port agents, and crew to ensure timely port calls and efficient vessel operations.
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigations for navigational hazards, including traffic separation schemes and restricted waters.
- Lead safety briefings, participate in drills, and contribute to the vessel's safety management system (SMS).
- Analyze navigational performance data and produce reports to support continuous improvement.
- Provide mentoring and training to junior officers on navigation, chart work, and bridge resource management.
Qualification
- Valid STCW Certificate of Competency as Deck Officer or equivalent per flag state.
- Minimum 5 years of sea-going experience with current watchkeeping responsibilities.
- Proficiency in ECDIS, ARPA radar, automatic plotting, and related navigation software (Navis familiarity is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of COLREGs, weather routing, voyage planning, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities; fluent in English.
- Ability to work rotating watches, adapt to dynamic schedules, and travel as needed.
