Oceanic Meridian Shipping Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Maritime Navigation Specialist to join our Singapore operations. You will ensure safe, efficient voyages, leveraging state of the art navigation systems and a collaborative team environment.

Responsibility
- Conduct voyage planning using ECDIS, ARPA radar, AIS and weather data to determine safe and efficient routes.
- Monitor vessel position, speed and course in real time and respond to navigational alerts.
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, COLREGs and applicable national regulations for all voyages.
- Coordinate with pilots, port authorities and fleet control for smooth berthing and departure operations.
- Maintain high standards of bridge resource management and team communication during watches.
- Analyze meteorological and tidal information to anticipate hazards and adjust plans accordingly.
- Lead training and mentorship for junior navigators and watch officers.
- Prepare and review navigational documentation, including passage plans and logbooks, for audit readiness.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation, Nautical Science or a related field; Master Mariner preferred.
- Valid STCW II/2 or above with Licence to command or second officer on international voyages.
- Extensive experience with ECDIS, radar ARPA, AIS and integrated bridge systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of COLREGs, SOLAS and international navigation standards.
- Strong analytical skills, weather interpretation and voyage optimization capabilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork abilities in English; additional languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required and maintain valid passport; full compliance with medical and fitness standards.
- Proven track record of safe navigation, incident-free operations and continuous improvement mindset.
