Pulse Market Insights is seeking a results-driven Market Research Analyst to join our NYC-based team. You will design and execute mixed-method research programs, translate data into strategic insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product and go-to-market decisions. Responsibility

  • Plan and execute market research studies using primary and secondary data sources to answer business questions
  • Design and manage surveys, interviews, focus groups, and experiments to gather robust data
  • Analyze data with statistical tools, build dashboards, and deliver insights reports for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to translate findings into strategy and execution plans
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to anticipate shifts
  • Communicate insights through compelling data storytelling and executive-ready presentations
  • Manage research vendors, project timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in market research, statistics, economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 2–5 years of market research experience in a relevant industry
  • Proficiency in Excel and at least one analytics tool (SPSS, R, Python) and data visualization (Tableau or Power BI)
  • Experience designing and executing surveys and qualitative research methodologies
  • Strong analytical and statistical thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling with data
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple studies concurrently and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Knowledge of research ethics and data privacy best practices
