NovaInsights Research is seeking a Senior Market Research Analyst to join our NYC team. You will design and execute mixed-method research studies, translate complex data into actionable insights, and partner with product, marketing, and strategy teams to drive business growth.
In this role, you will own study design, data collection, analysis, and storytelling with data. You will leverage advanced analytics, survey research, and competitive intelligence to inform go-to-market strategies for clients across tech, consumer goods, and healthcare.

Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end market research projects from scoping to reporting, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
- Design quantitative and qualitative research studies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and UX testing.
- Develop research instruments, sampling strategies, and data collection processes to ensure high-quality data.
- Analyze data using statistical methods and data visualization tools; synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
- Prepare client-ready reports, presentations, and storytelling narratives that translate data into business impact.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Strategy teams to inform product development and go-to-market plans.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships; ensure ethical research practices and data privacy compliance.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in market research, with a track record of delivering strategic insights.
- Strong quantitative skills (experience with SPSS/SAS/R or Python) and proficiency in Excel/SQL.
- Experience with survey design, sampling methods, and data quality control.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and storytelling with data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.
- Knowledge of consumer trends, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics.
