Join Nova Insights, a premium market research partner delivering high-impact insights for leading brands. We are seeking a Market Research Analyst to join our New York City team and help design, execute, and translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.
You will work closely with product, marketing, and client teams to publish client-ready deliverables, including dashboards, briefs, and executive reports.
Responsibility
- Design and execute qualitative and quantitative studies (surveys, interviews, focus groups) to answer client questions and test hypotheses.
- Translate data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for executive audiences.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, SPSS/R/Python, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
- Manage fieldwork vendor relationships, sampling plans, and data quality control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform product development, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscapes to provide ongoing guidance to clients.
- Present findings to clients and stakeholders, adapting messaging for varied audiences.
- Ensure methodologies meet rigorous standards, privacy requirements, and project timelines.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Sociology, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of market research or consumer insights experience.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SPSS, R, Python, or SAS.
- Experience with survey design, sampling methods, and online panel management.
- Proficiency in data visualization and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) and storytelling with data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to clients.
- Project management ability, with the capability to manage multiple studies and tight deadlines.
- Right to work in the United States and ability to work in NYC (hybrid flexibility).
