Job description

NovaMarket Insights is seeking a results-driven Market Research Analyst to join our NYC team. This role focuses on designing and executing studies that uncover actionable consumer insights, influence product strategy, and guide marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate combines rigorous methodology with storytelling to translate data into business impact.

At NovaMarket Insights you will partner with product, marketing, and analytics teams to design, execute, and interpret research that informs strategy and decision-making. You will ensure data quality, ethical practices, and timely delivery of insights that drive growth.

Responsibility

  • Design and execute mixed-method market research studies (surveys, interviews, focus groups) to uncover consumer insights and market trends.
  • Develop research briefs, sampling plans, and measurement frameworks aligned with business goals.
  • Analyze quantitative data using statistical methods; create dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Lead interpretation of results and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality insights.
  • Ensure data quality, privacy compliance, and ethical research practices across studies.
  • Present findings to senior leadership with clear narratives and data visualizations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy and opportunity identification.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 2-5 years of market research experience in consumer goods, technology, or related sectors.
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one statistical package (R, Python, or SPSS).
  • Experience designing surveys, experiments, and sampling plans; proficiency in Qualtrics or similar tools.
  • Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to articulate complex data into clear business implications.
  • Project management skills; ability to manage multiple studies and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
