Nova Insights is seeking a data driven Market Research Analyst to join our growing analytics team in New York. You will transform consumer data into actionable insights that influence product development and strategic decisions for enterprise clients.
As a Market Research Analyst you will partner with product, marketing, and client teams to uncover opportunities through primary and secondary research, build robust data models, and deliver executive ready recommendations.

Responsibility
- Plan and execute primary and secondary market research to understand market size, growth, trends, and competitive landscape
- Design surveys and experiments, manage data collection, ensure data quality and integrity
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Analyze data with statistical methods and tools such as Excel, SQL, SPSS or R to derive actionable insights
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to translate findings into strategic recommendations
- Prepare executive ready summaries and data visualizations for client presentations
- Monitor industry benchmarks and provide ongoing market intelligence to inform decisions
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in market research or analytics
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL; knowledge of statistics and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience designing surveys and analyzing consumer data
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work cross functionally in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Experience with Python or R is a plus
