We are seeking a results-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our growing insights team in Austin, Texas. This role focuses on turning data into actionable business decisions that drive product and marketing strategy. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with a storytelling mindset to translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
As part of our Market Research function, you will plan, execute, and synthesize primary and secondary research projects, analyze trends, and support data-driven decision making across product, growth, and communications teams.
Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of primary research studies including surveys, interviews, and usability tests to uncover customer needs and market opportunities.
- Develop research briefs, sampling plans, and project timelines; manage timelines and budgets for multiple initiatives.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights and business implications.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to translate insights into strategic recommendations and roadmaps.
- Build dashboards and regular reports (KPIs, segmentation, trend analyses) to inform decision making.
- Communicate findings clearly through presentations and storytelling to executives and cross-functional audiences.
- Ensure data quality, ethical standards, and compliance in all research activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in market research, statistics, economics or related field; masters preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in market research or consumer insights; agency or in-house experience acceptable.
- Proficiency with research tools and platforms (Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey, SPSS/R/Python) and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate data into compelling recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of consumer behavior and market dynamics across digital and physical channels.
