At NexaInsights, we help brands understand the market and unlock growth. We are seeking a results-driven Market Research Analyst to join our New York City team. In this role, you will design and execute market studies, collect and analyze data from primary and secondary sources, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and leadership.

What you’ll do is collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, build study plans, and deliver clear, data-driven insights. You will balance quantitative rigor with strategic storytelling to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

Ideal candidates are curious, disciplined analysts who communicate complex results clearly and confidently, turning data into practical business actions.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end market research projects (qualitative and quantitative) from scoping to reporting.
  • Design surveys, experiments, sampling plans, and data collection strategies.
  • Analyze data using SQL, Excel, and statistical tools; create dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Synthesize insights and present findings to cross-functional teams with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and strategy teams to translate insights into strategy and roadmaps.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external agencies when needed, ensuring quality and timelines.
  • Ensure research processes adhere to ethical standards, quality controls, and best practices.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Economics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on market research or data analytics experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with survey design, sampling methods, and statistical analysis (SPSS/SAS, R).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, with advanced problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
