As a Medical Secretary, you will be a vital link between patients, physicians, and clinical staff. You will coordinate appointment scheduling, maintain accurate medical records, and handle front-desk operations with professionalism, empathy, and discretion. Your contribution will help streamline clinic operations, ensure timely communication, and enable our ophthalmology team to focus on delivering outstanding eye care.

Responsibility
- Greet and assist patients at the front desk; schedule appointments and manage physician calendars
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records, test results, and referrals in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Coordinate communication between physicians, nurses, lab staff, and patients to ensure efficient care delivery
- Handle patient intake, insurance documentation, and billing-related inquiries with professionalism
- Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence, prioritizing urgent requests
- Assist with clinic operations, including documentation, supplies, and data entry
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualification
- Previous experience as a medical secretary, administrative assistant, or receptionist in a healthcare setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Filipino language skills preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and EMR/electronic health record systems; familiarity with appointment scheduling software
- Strong organizational abilities, multitasking, and attention to detail
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and patient-service orientation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data privacy
- Minimum education: high school diploma or bachelor's degree; relevant certifications welcomed
