Responsibility
- Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and inventory levels to develop data-driven merchandise plans.
- Collaborate with the buying team to create seasonal assortments and ensure optimal product mix across stores.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring product availability and turnover.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities and risks, and recommend action plans.
- Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to coordinate timely delivery and replenishment of products.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales, inventory, and margin performance to management.
- Contribute to promotional planning and markdown optimization to maximize sales and profitability.
- Evaluate market and customer trends to inform product and assortment strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in merchandise planning or allocation, preferably in fashion or footwear retail.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and planning/forecasting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work onsite in Ortigas, Metro Manila.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of current fashion and retail trends is highly desirable.
