Merchandiser – Pakna-an, Cebu
Join Kadasig Distribution Incorporated as a Merchandiser and play a vital role in making our products stand out on retail shelves. You will ensure optimal visibility, organize displays, rotate stock, and monitor inventory to support sales performance and store operations within Pakna-an and surrounding Cebu areas. As part of the merchandising team, you will execute planograms, set up promotional displays, and maintain accurate pricing and signage. You will partner with store personnel and the sales team to implement seasonal campaigns, gather feedback, and report on merchandising outcomes. Responsibility
- Maintain product visibility and ensure attractive shelf presentations across assigned stores, following planograms and brand guidelines.
- Set up, rotate, and refresh displays; ensure accurate pricing, signage, and promotional materials.
- Monitor stock levels daily; coordinate with store staff and warehouse to prevent stockouts and overstocks.
- Execute merchandising plans for new product launches and seasonal campaigns; communicate status to the sales team.
- Collaborate with store teams to drive in-store promotions and improve shopper experience; collect feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, merchandising policies, and safety requirements.
- Maintain and update inventory records, report discrepancies, and assist with shelf resets as needed.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail merchandising or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and apply planograms and labels accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently and follow directions.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk, and lift items up to 25-30 lbs (11-14 kg).
- Proactive, reliable, and punctual; flexible to work weekends or holidays as required.
- Basic math skills and comfort with inventory records; familiarity with handheld devices or POS/inventory systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Cebuano; customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
