Join Dwi Cermat Indonesia as a Merchant Relation Officer in Palu and play a pivotal role in building strong partnerships with offline SME merchants using our Merchant Apps. In this contract position, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets across your territory while delivering compelling product demonstrations and training that empower merchants to maximize their earnings and streamline operations. You will act as the primary point of contact for merchants, providing timely support, collecting feedback, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and optimize the merchant experience. Your success will hinge on your ability to understand merchant needs, communicate clearly, and propose practical solutions that align with company goals.
Key responsibilities include prospecting and onboarding new merchants, conducting product trainings for Merchant App usage, and maintaining an up-to-date pipeline of opportunities. You will monitor performance metrics, analyze merchant data, and deliver insights that help merchants grow their businesses. The role requires field presence in Palu and surrounding areas, along with a proactive approach to relationship management and problem solving. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure merchants receive exceptional service and relevant program offers.

Responsibility
- Build and nurture relationships with offline SME merchants using Merchant Apps.
- Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Onboard new merchants and deliver comprehensive product training on Merchant App features.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with operations to resolve merchant requests.
- Monitor merchant performance metrics, collect feedback, and report insights to internal teams.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to promote programs and offers to merchants.
- Maintain accurate merchant records in the CRM and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
- Represent the company in local events or meetings to strengthen brand presence.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in merchant relations, key account management, or field sales, preferably with SMEs.
- Strong communication, presentation, and training skills; fluent in Indonesian (English is a plus).
- Solid negotiation and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach.
- Familiarity with digital payments, fintech, or merchant apps; comfortable with basic analytics and data interpretation.
- Ability to work independently in Palu with a willingness to travel locally as needed.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
