Cityscape Heritage Museum is seeking a results-driven Museum Operations Manager to lead daily operations, visitor experience, and strategic initiatives that advance our mission to engage communities with world-class heritage.
In this role, you will collaborate with curatorial staff, educators, facilities, and development teams to ensure excellent guest services, rigorous safety standards, and sustainable operations across our galleries, storage, and programs.

Responsibility
- Oversee daily museum operations, facilities, security, and visitor services to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
- Lead exhibitions planning and project management, coordinating timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Develop and manage the annual operating budget, monitor financial performance, and optimize resources.
- Drive fundraising, sponsorships, and donor relations to support program delivery and capital projects.
- Lead staff development, performance management, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver high-impact programs.
- Ensure collections management policies are followed, including handling, storage, and documentation standards.
- Build partnerships with schools, researchers, and community organizations to expand access and impact.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, accessibility, and regulatory requirements across all activities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in museum studies, history, arts management, or a related field;
- Minimum 5 years of museum operations or management experience in a mid to large-scale institution;
- Proven budget management, financial acumen, and ability to optimize resources;
- Experience in exhibitions planning, documentation, and collections management;
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills; experience with partners, donors, and sponsors;
- Knowledge of safety, accessibility, conservation, and compliance standards; familiarity with museum software is a plus.
