Responsibility

  • Develop and manage annual operating budget, procurement, vendor contracts, and facilities planning.
  • Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team of staff and volunteers; oversee scheduling and performance feedback.
  • Enhance visitor experience via accessibility initiatives, audience research, and service design improvements.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, safety, and emergency preparedness; implement preventive maintenance plans.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Arts Administration, History, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of museum operations, facilities management, or related experience; leadership in a museum setting strongly preferred.
  • Proven budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiation experience.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with collections management basics, loan processes, and digital asset management.
