Heritage & Science Museum is seeking a proactive Museum Operations Manager to lead daily operations, oversee facilities and guest services, and ensure exceptional visitor experiences in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day museum operations, facilities, security, and visitor services to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all guests.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, staffing plans, contractor relationships, and operational KPIs.
- Lead on-site program delivery, logistics for temporary exhibitions, and coordination of special events.
- Collaborate with curatorial and education teams to design engaging visitor experiences and accessibility initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports for leadership, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, conservation, and regulatory standards across all operations.
- Foster partnerships with schools, donors, volunteers, and community organizations to advance the museum’s mission.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in museum studies, history, arts administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of museum or nonprofit operations management experience, with a track record of leading diverse teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven project management capabilities.
- Demonstrated budget management, financial analysis, and vendor negotiation experience.
- Knowledge of museum safety, conservation, accessibility standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with donor relations, grant administration, or fundraising support is a plus.
- Proficiency with museum management software, ticketing systems, CRM, and data analytics; comfortable with technology and reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings for events and programs.
