Horizon Studio Records is seeking a strategic and creative Music Content Marketing Manager to lead artist-first campaigns and drive engagement across streaming platforms, social channels, and search.
In this full-time role in Nashville, you will own the content strategy, optimize metadata for releases, and collaborate with artists, producers, and marketing teammates to grow audiences and accelerate discovery.
As a core member of the marketing team, you’ll craft compelling narratives, manage multi-format content, and ensure consistent brand storytelling across all touchpoints.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute music-focused content strategy across owned channels and DSP playlists.
- Lead SEO, metadata optimization, and on-page tactics for all music releases and artist pages.
- Produce and edit multi-format content (articles, videos, social posts, newsletters) that resonates with fans and DSP audiences.
- Collaborate with artists, producers, and the label team to plan campaigns around releases, tours, and press.
- Analyze performance using GA4, Looker Studio, and DSP analytics; generate insights and reporting.
- Manage content calendar, budget, and vendor relationships; coordinate with creative, digital, and PR partners.
- Oversee email marketing and fan engagement initiatives to boost retention and lifetime value.
Qualification
- 3+ years in music marketing, digital marketing, or equivalent with demonstrable results in growing audiences.
- Strong SEO and metadata optimization experience for music and media.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio, Chartmetric, DSP dashboards) and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to craft compelling narratives for fans and industry stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DSP ecosystems (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music), metadata standards, and licensing basics.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), video editing, and social media advertising.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
