Responsibility
- Conduct observational research using ground-based and space telescopes.
- Design and execute observation campaigns for targeted celestial phenomena.
- Analyze astrophysical data and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
- Collaborate with international research teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Present findings at scientific conferences and public outreach events.
- Contribute to the development of next-generation observational methods and instrumentation.
- Mentor graduate students and contribute to academic programs.
- Maintain accurate research documentation and comply with data management protocols.
Qualification
- PhD in Astronomy, Astrophysics, or closely related field.
- Minimum 3 years of postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
- Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Proficiency with astronomical data analysis software (e.g., IRAF, Astropy).
- Experience with optical/infrared telescopic instrumentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
