Responsibility

- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks and brewed beverages to meet quality standards and speed of service. \n
- Engage with guests, take orders, upsell pastries and merchandise, and ensure a warm, welcoming experience. \n
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensure proper beverage hygiene, and adhere to sanitation guidelines. \n
- Operate the POS system accurately, process payments, and manage cash handling with integrity. \n
- Restock ingredients, rotate stock, and monitor product quality; notify leadership of low inventory. \n
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including side-work and equipment checks. \n
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain consistency and deliver exceptional customer service during peak hours. \n
- Follow safety policies and health regulations; contribute to a positive, inclusive shop culture. \n
Qualification

- 2+ years of barista or café service experience; strong knowledge of espresso extraction and milk texturing. \n
- Passion for coffee, high-energy and customer-focused demeanor. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a busy environment. \n
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math. \n
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. \n
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed. \n
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain; basic cleaning and sanitation practices. \n
- Team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail. \n
