Job description

GMP Group is seeking a permanent HR Generalist to partner with leaders in the West Region and elevate the employee experience. You will own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, succession planning and offboarding, while ensuring policy compliance and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

As the HR Generalist, you will collaborate with managers across business units to translate business strategy into people initiatives. You will analyze HR data, prepare timely reports, and use insights to influence decisions on talent development, workforce planning, and process improvements. You will also serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, policy interpretation, and compliance with local labor laws. Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end onboarding programs and orientation activities to ensure a smooth and productive start for new hires.
  • Partner with managers to drive performance management processes, goal setting, and talent development plans.
  • Administer HR policies and programs, ensuring compliance and consistent application across the West Region.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including designing and coordinating training programs and career path opportunities.
  • Manage employee relations, address escalations, and cultivate a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS data, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to support workforce planning.
  • Coordinate payroll-related activities and benefits administration in collaboration with payroll and finance teams when applicable.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including screening, interviewing coordination, and candidate communication.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of HR Generalist or HR operations experience, preferably in a regional setting.
  • Solid knowledge of local labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics; proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
