As a Captain, you will oversee flight crew performance, collaborate with dispatch and maintenance, and uphold the highest standards of aviation safety in every mission.
Responsibility
- Lead cockpit operations and provide decisive flight deck leadership in all mission phases.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company procedures and safety standards.
- Coordinate with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Ground Operations to optimize flight plan execution.
- Mentor and supervise first officers and cadets; deliver timely feedback and coaching.
- Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety management systems and incident investigations as needed.
- Approve flight plans, fuel calculations, and performance data for assigned routes.
- Participate in recurrent training and maintain currency across the fleet.
Qualification
- Active FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with current type rating for the fleet; preferred jet-type rating.
- Minimum 5,000 total flight hours with at least 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Current First Class Medical Certificate and IFR rating; proficiency in high-precision approach procedures.
- Strong CRM, communication, and leadership skills; ability to coach junior pilots.
- Proven ability to operate under pressure; strong situational awareness and decision-making.
- Willingness to relocate to Seattle area and travel as required; ability to pass background and drug tests.
- Fluent in English; commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.
