Responsibility

  • Own and optimize the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to align with demand, capacity, and contractual material liability terms.
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure material availability and minimize material risk before demand loading.
  • Monitor and manage material liability, WIP, and inventory levels to support on time delivery and cost control.
  • Coordinate cross functional planning reviews with Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze demand signals, forecast accuracy, and production capacity to drive productive, achievable schedules.
  • Maintain data integrity in ERP/MRP systems and generate regular performance dashboards with KPI driven reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve planning accuracy, lead times, and cycle times.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior planners, and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of planning/production control experience in manufacturing, preferably electronics or high-volume assemblies.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with contractual terms and material liability in customer agreements is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills; ability to influence and drive alignment.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
