As a Police Officer, you will be on the front lines of public safety, patrol assigned neighborhoods, respond to emergency calls, and work closely with the community to prevent crime and resolve incidents.
Responsibility
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect crime while maintaining a visible presence
- Respond to emergency calls, assess situations, and provide initial on scene leadership
- Investigate incidents, collect evidence, interview witnesses, and document findings
- Enforce laws and ordinances, issue citations when appropriate, and coordinate with partners
- Prepare thorough incident reports and maintain accurate records in case management systems
- Engage in community outreach to build trust and implement crime prevention strategies
- Participate in ongoing training, physical fitness programs, and professional development
Qualification
- U.S. citizen or lawful resident with right to work in the United States
- Minimum age 21, high school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
- Completion of police academy or sworn officer certification; eligible for state certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, medical exam, agility/fitness test
- Strong communication, problem solving, and de escalation skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, service, and respect for diverse communities
