Responsibility
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, assess risks, and provide immediate safety support.
- Patrol assigned neighborhoods to deter crime, enforce traffic laws, and build positive community relations.
- Conduct preliminary investigations, collect evidence, and document findings accurately.
- Prepare detailed reports, case files, and administrative records for ongoing enforcement actions.
- Engage with residents, businesses, and schools to address concerns and promote crime prevention.
- Collaborate with other agencies and units to coordinate operations and share intelligence.
- Remain physically fit, undergo ongoing training, and pursue specialty assignments as available.
Qualification
- Minimum 21 years old with U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization.
- High school diploma or GED; some college coursework or degrees preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successfully pass physical fitness assessments and medical evaluations.
- Background check with no felony convictions; able to meet ethical and professional standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to ongoing training, continuous learning, and community policing principles.
