Responsibility
- Respond to calls for service and maintain public safety in assigned precincts.

- Perform patrol duties using problem-solving and de-escalation techniques.

- Participate in ongoing training on firearms, first aid, investigation methods, and policy updates.
- Document incidents, preserve chain of custody, and maintain equipment readiness.
- Engage in community policing initiatives to build trust and transparency.
Qualification
- Minimum high school diploma or GED; college coursework encouraged.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet state certification requirements.
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status as required by the agency.
- At least 21 years of age; physically fit with the ability to meet rigorous standards.
- Clean record with successful background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays; willingness to relocate if required.
- Completion or enrollment in a certified police academy program; ongoing professional development.
