Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned precincts and neighborhoods to deter crime and maintain public safety.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service with composure and decisive action.
- conduct traffic stops, investigations, and initial crime scene assessments while respecting rights and safety.
- Document incidents accurately through clear reports, logs, and evidence preservation.
- Collaborate with detectives, prosecutors, and community partners to support investigations and solutions.
- Engage with community members to address concerns, provide information, and foster trust.
- Maintain equipment, complete training, and stay current on policies, laws, and procedures.

Qualification
- Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework or degree preferred.
- Successful completion of police academy, physical fitness test, medical screening, and psychological evaluation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to de-escalate and resolve conflicts.
- Excellent judgment, integrity, and ethical decision-making; ability to work under stress.
- Clean background with no felonies; ability to pass background check and polygraph; ability to obtain security clearance if needed.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays; ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
