Responsibility
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound container movements at Pasir Panjang Port, aligning with vessel schedules and crane operations.
- Monitor yard inventory, container status, and intermodal transfers; ensure accurate data entry in ERP systems.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents (Bills of Lading, cargo manifests, delivery orders) and ensure compliance with MPA Singapore and customs requirements.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking partners, and warehouse teams to resolve schedule conflicts and minimize delays.
- Track key performance indicators (throughput, dwell times, on-time milestones) and implement process improvements to optimize port-wide efficiency.
- Support safety and security procedures, conduct basic risk assessments, and maintain accurate records for audits.
- Escalate and resolve operational disruptions, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize impact on cargo flow.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in port operations, container services, or logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, manifests, delivery orders) and port/customs procedures.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or port management software is a plus.
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment; flexible to shift patterns if required; work authorization in Singapore.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in port operations.
