We seek a motivated scientist with a strong background in computational biology and statistics to contribute to multidisciplinary research efforts in genomics, imaging, and large-scale biomedical datasets.
Responsibility
- Lead the design, execution, and analysis of computational experiments across biomedical datasets.
- Develop and apply machine learning and statistical models to genomics, imaging, and omics data.
- Collaborate with biologists, clinicians, and data scientists to define research questions and experimental plans.
- Prepare and publish results in peer-reviewed journals; present findings at conferences and seminars.
- Mentor graduate students and research staff; contribute to training and education initiatives.
- Develop robust data pipelines, ensure reproducibility, and maintain code and data documentation.
- Contribute to grant writing, progress reporting, and project management as needed.
Qualification
- PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, statistics, computer science, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in Python and R with experience in ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with high-throughput omics data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Strong track record of independent research with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Familiarity with data wrangling, visualization, and reproducible research practices (Git, notebooks).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Eligibility to work in the US and ability to collaborate across scientific disciplines.
