Smarthire by SEEK, on behalf of Origin Studios, is inviting a proactive PR & Marketing Executive to join a dynamic creative team in Malaysia. This full-time role is based in Petaling Jaya and offers the opportunity to shape how Origin Studios connects with audiences, creators, and partners across Malaysia and beyond.
You will be responsible for driving brand visibility and storytelling across traditional and digital channels. We value a curious, results-driven communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams including creative, production, and sales.
As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will own the end-to-end PR and marketing lifecycle—from crafting compelling press materials and social content to building lasting media relationships. You will work closely with designers, videographers, and content creators to translate concepts into impactful campaigns, events, and launches while ensuring alignment with Origin Studios’ brand voice and business goals. Responsibility
- Develop and execute PR and marketing campaigns to raise Origin Studios' brand profile in Malaysia and the region.
- Draft press releases, media notes, case studies, and social content that reflect the brand voice.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, partners, and vendors.
- Coordinate press events, media briefings, product launches, and content shoots.
- Monitor media coverage, analyze performance metrics, and report results to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, production, partnerships) to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and quality standards to meet targets.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of PR/marketing experience; agency or studio environment preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Malay proficiency is a plus.
- Strong media relations and influencer outreach capabilities.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and able to think creatively to solve problems.
