Join a dynamic team at Lewis Personnel Management as a Procurement and Logistics Officer (WFH) based in Makati City. This role blends strategic sourcing with hands-on logistics to ensure materials arrive on time, costs stay within budget, and project operations run smoothly across multiple sites. You will work remotely with occasional on-site coordination as needed, collaborating with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and fleet partners to drive value and operational excellence.
As the Procurement and Logistics Officer, you will own end-to-end procurement for materials, equipment, and services, from RFQs and supplier selection to purchase orders and invoice reconciliation. You will plan and monitor inbound and outbound logistics, arrange freight, coordinate with carriers, and track shipments to meet critical project deadlines. You will maintain accurate inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and ensure data integrity in our procurement and ERP systems. You will also oversee fleet management, optimize routes, and monitor vehicle utilization to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
To succeed in this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, warehouse teams, and finance, adhering to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will analyze supplier performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability. Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement for materials, equipment, and services, including supplier selection, RFQs, bid analyses, negotiations, and PO issuance.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure on-time deliveries aligned with project schedules and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and ensure data integrity across ERP/procurement systems.
- Oversee fleet management, optimize vehicle utilization, and coordinate with carriers to control transportation costs.
- Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to forecast material needs, develop procurement plans, and track budget spend.
- Monitor supplier performance, address issues, negotiate favorable terms, and develop a robust supplier base in the Philippines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; implement process improvements and best practices.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, track shipments, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate returns or credits as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relations skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement software; advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities; able to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.
- Knowledge of local suppliers, market conditions, and regulatory requirements in the Philippines; willingness to travel as needed.
- Results-driven with strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
